The Bridestones are a group of weathered sandstone tors standing above the woods on the northern edge of Dalby Forest, their softer lower rock eaten away to leave top-heavy, mushroom shapes. A National Trust path loops up through bracken and heather to reach them, a lovely short walk with a bit of a climb. Bring sturdy footwear — the ground turns boggy in places after rain.
