Dramatic boulder-strewn pass into Snowdon's heart.

The Llanberis Pass carries the road up a steep, boulder-strewn glacial valley between the Snowdon massif and the Glyderau, topping out at Pen-y-Pass. It’s the busiest gateway to Yr Wyddfa — the Pyg and Miners’ tracks both start from the top — and the crags on either side are a long-standing rock-climbing ground. Parking at the summit fills early. Llanberis sits at the foot of the descent.
