Froggatt Edge carries on north from Curbar along the same gritstone rim, though here silver birch and bilberry soften the slope below the crags. It’s long been a climbers’ edge, with a well-known run of routes on the clean rock. The path along the top stays level and is open access; Grindleford station is a couple of kilometres down to the north.
