The Lade Inn is a family-run real-ale pub at Kilmahog, just west of Callander where the road splits for the Trossachs. It has its own range of house beers and a Scottish menu, making a good first or last stop on a day in the hills. Dunblane station is the nearest at about 19km, so most people arrive by car.
