Callander
Local highlightGateway town to the Trossachs.
Callander is the busy eastern gateway to the Trossachs, laid out as a planned town in the 18th century where the Rivers Teith and Leny meet. The long main street is lined with shops, cafes and outdoor gear, and both the Bracklinn Falls and the Callander Crags are short walks from the centre. It gets crowded in summer — a natural stop on the way into the hills.
