A twelve-seat wood-fired sauna on the shore of the Lake of Menteith, in the grounds of the lakeside hotel
Save this place
The Wild Sauna Company’s first sauna stands in the grounds of the Karma Lake of Menteith hotel at Port of Menteith, inside Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Its owners bill it as Scotland’s first wild sauna. It seats twelve, and you can dip in the lake between rounds or use the cold shower and bucket. Alongside ordinary sessions there are full-moon evenings and introductions to wild swimming.
