The Factory Tap hides down a yard off Kendal’s main street, a small craft-beer taproom with a rotating line-up of cask and keg from near and far. It’s picked up local awards for its beer, and does good pizza to soak it up. No frills, just careful drinking. Kendal station is under a kilometre away, an easy add-on to a wander round town.
