The Duke of Wellington is an attractive 18th-century inn in the middle of Danby, with beamed bars, an open fire and rooms upstairs. It’s a short stroll from the Moors National Park Centre and from Danby station, which makes it an easy Esk Valley base for a night either side of a moorland walk.
