One of Newcastle’s oldest and most-loved pubs, the Crown Posada is a long, narrow Victorian bar on the Quayside, famous for its stained-glass windows and pre-Raphaelite decoration. It’s a slim room, so it fills quickly, but the ale is well kept and the setting hard to beat. Manors Metro is a few minutes away.
