The Combermere Arms is a big, rambling country pub at Burleydam, right on the Shropshire border, with plenty of dog-friendly corners and a garden for warmer days. It’s a reliable spot for a long lunch out in the lanes south of Nantwich. Wrenbury station is around 4km to the north if you’re on the train.
