A real-ale pilgrimage as much as a village pub, the Bhurtpore Inn at Aston keeps around a dozen changing cask beers on and runs a long-standing beer festival. The kitchen has a strong Indian streak, and there’s a big bottled range too. Wrenbury station is only a short walk away, and the Hack Green nuclear bunker makes an odd but memorable detour nearby.
