A family-run pub in the Woodford Valley, the Bridge Inn has a big grassy garden right on the River Avon and a wood-burner inside for colder days. It’s popular with walkers and cyclists following the valley road, and serves home-cooked food lunchtimes and evenings. Salisbury lies about 7km downstream to the south.
