The Black Bull is the last of the old coaching inns in Boroughbridge, a low-beamed pub just off the market square. It does food and has rooms, which makes it a handy overnight stop between York and the Dales. Knaresborough is the nearest station, around 11km to the south-west, so you’ll likely want a car here.
