Bishopstrow is a Georgian country house in riverside parkland on the River Wylye near Warminster, where the kitchen leans on Wiltshire produce and puts substance ahead of show. The mood is calm and rural. It makes a comfortable base for the downs of Cranborne Chase to the south-west, or a walk up Cley Hill and a stretch of the Wessex Ridgeway nearby.
