Little has changed inside St Mary’s since the eighteenth century. Made redundant early and never modernised, it keeps its bleached box pews, a three-decker pulpit and two small galleries, one of them once used as a schoolroom. The Churches Conservation Trust cares for it now and keeps it open. Dilton Marsh station is about a kilometre north, near Westbury.
