RHS garden with a celebrated streamside.
RHS Garden Harlow Carr is the Royal Horticultural Society’s northern flagship, 58 acres on the western edge of Harrogate. The Society took it on in 2001 after merging with the Northern Horticultural Society, and it runs from streamside plantings through woodland to a working kitchen garden and a scented winter walk. There’s a Bettys tea room by the entrance if you want cake with your borders. Paid entry; Harrogate station is a couple of miles off, or a path through the Pinewoods links it to Valley Gardens.
