Peckover is a Georgian merchant’s townhouse on Wisbech’s North Brink, its plain brick front hiding a two-acre Victorian garden behind. Roses, an orangery with fruiting orange trees and restored glasshouses fill the walled plot. The National Trust opens house and garden on set days with an admission charge; members go free. It’s a short walk along the Nene from the town centre.
