Denver Windmill is a tall Fenland tower mill just south of Downham Market, built in 1835 for the Porter family and restored to full working order — it grinds stoneground flour on milling days, sold on site. It’s run by the Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust, so check opening before a visit. Downham Market station is a little over a mile north, and Oxborough, with its moated hall, lies to the south.
