Glenarn is a hillside woodland garden above the Gareloch at Rhu, known among plant people for rhododendrons and magnolias that flower unusually early in the year. Come in late winter or early spring to catch them at their best. It opens seasonally; Helensburgh Upper station is under 3km away.
