Euston Hall has been the seat of the Dukes of Grafton for over 350 years, its parkland shaped by William Kent and Capability Brown along the Little Ouse. Kent’s octagonal temple still stands among the trees, one of his last designs. The house and gardens open only a handful of days a year — check the estate’s own site and book ahead. Thetford is the nearest station, about 7km to the north-west.
