Bowhill Gardens
Local highlightBowhill is one of the Duke of Buccleuch’s houses, set in designed grounds west of Selkirk with lochs, woodland walks and an adventure playground for kids. The gardens and estate open seasonally with an admission charge — a good half-day of gentle walking, with the house itself open at set times. Galashiels station is about 11km to the north-east.
