The Traquair Arms in Innerleithen is a comfortable small hotel and bar, best known for pouring ales from the nearby Traquair House brewery just up the road. It’s a sound base for the Tweed Valley, handy for the town’s mountain-bike trails and the hills above. Stow, on the Borders Railway, is about 15km to the north-east.
