Wolfburn is the most northerly whisky distillery on the Scottish mainland, brought back to life at Thurso in 2013 on the site of an 1820s distillery of the same name a few hundred metres away. It’s a small, hands-on operation, and visits are best arranged in advance. Thurso station is about 1.5km away.
