North Point is a small distillery at Forss, a few miles west of Thurso, making rum and gin rather than whisky — its Pilot rum and Crosskirk Bay gin among them. You can book a distillery tour, and there’s a cocktail experience on offer too. Thurso is the nearest station, back east along the A836.
