Sandside Bay is a curve of sand beside a small harbour at Reay, on the Caithness coast, with a golf course running along behind. It’s an easy stop off the A836 between Thurso and Melvich, sheltered enough for a walk when the north wind’s up. Thurso is the nearest station, about 15km east.
