St Mary's Chapel, Crosskirk
St Mary’s Chapel at Crosskirk is a roofless 12th-century chapel near the coast west of Thurso, reckoned the oldest surviving church building in Caithness. A small, simple structure of drystone walls in a lonely spot — you can walk in and look around freely.
