Colonsay Gin is distilled on the small, remote island of Colonsay in the Southern Hebrides, using local botanicals. The distillery offers a gin tour and tasting you can book ahead, and otherwise sells online with delivery to the mainland. Colonsay is a CalMac ferry from Oban (some sailings via Islay), so it’s a producer that rewards a bit of planning. Colonsay Brewery is on the same island at Scalasaig.
