The gardens at Colonsay House shelter rhododendrons and rare shrubs in the woodland around the house near Kiloran, and hold the ancient Riasg Buidhe cross, brought here from an old settlement on the island. They open on set days only, so check ahead before making the trip. Colonsay is reached by CalMac ferry from Oban.
