Purple Moose is a microbrewery in the harbour town of Porthmadog, brewing cask and bottled ales that turn up in pubs across the north-west. There’s a shop and taphouse near the high street where you can buy to take away. Porthmadog station is a few minutes’ walk, handy if you’ve come in on the Ffestiniog line.
