Cadwalader’s ice cream was founded in Criccieth in 1927 by David and Hannah Cadwalader, and the seaside town still keeps the original parlour. The soft vanilla spread to shops across Wales, but this is where it began, near the beach below the castle. The station is a short walk from the front.
