NB Distillery, out at Halflandbarns just south of North Berwick, makes award-winning gin and rum — its London Dry was once voted the world’s best. Book onto the “Ginspiration” tour and tasting, or just drop into the cellar-door shop (open Wednesday to Friday) for a bottle. North Berwick station is a few kilometres north.
