The roofless Old Saint Andrew’s Kirk stands by North Berwick harbour, what’s left of a 17th-century church eventually abandoned to the encroaching sea. An earlier kirk on the same green features in the North Berwick witch trials of 1590, and the Covenanter John Blackadder is buried here. Freely accessible, a short walk from the town’s Seabird Centre.
