A family vineyard at Alweston, a short way south of Sherborne, English Oak opens its cellar door from Wednesday to Sunday. You can book a tour of the vines or just drop by for an informal tasting. It’s one of the more convenient Dorset vineyards to reach without a car — Sherborne station is only about 3km away.
