Right on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Great Haywood Junction, Canalside is a farm shop and café with a terrace over the water and pick-your-own fields behind. Come in summer for strawberries and raspberries, or autumn for the pumpkins; the kitchen leans on the farm’s own produce and suppliers within thirty miles. Open daily, and an easy stop off the towpath or the road east to Milford and Cannock Chase.
