Alder Vineyard sits near Lewdown on Dartmoor’s north-western edge, working vines and a cider orchard on the same ground. There’s a winery, a cellar door and a cafe-bar, with guided tours through the season taking in the vineyard before a tasting. Okehampton is the closest town for a base, out to the north-east.
