Countryman Cider is a small scrumpy farm near Milton Abbot, just outside Tavistock on Dartmoor’s western edge. It presses and sells traditional farmhouse cider from the old stone stables of a former coaching inn — dry, medium, sweet or vintage, drawn from the barrel to taste before you buy. Gunnislake is the nearest station, about 9km south.
