Bearslake Inn
Local highlightA thatched thirteenth-century longhouse on the north-western edge of Dartmoor, the Bearslake Inn keeps its cob and granite walls and a long garden running down to a brook, with a kitchen that leans on Devon produce. It is cosy and unhurried. The Dartmoor Way passes the door, and the moor rises east towards High Willhays, with Lydford Gorge a short drive south.
