Okehampton Castle preserves the earthworks of a former motte-and-bailey castle in Devon. It is one of three motte-and-bailey castles the Albion Guide lists in the county. The surrounding countryside is part of Dartmoor National Park.
For more of the same, Broadbury Castle and Gidleigh Castle are close by. The nearest railway station, Okehampton, is under a kilometre away.
