St James’ is a small medieval church tucked by the River Monnow at Llangua, close to the border with Herefordshire. It sits near the old road between Abergavenny and Hereford, not far from Grosmont — an out-of-the-way church rather than a set-piece one, but worth the short detour if you are following the Monnow.
