Tyninghame is a quietly lovely beach of pink-tinged sand where the River Tyne meets the sea, backed by pine woods at the edge of John Muir Country Park. Park at Tyninghame Links and walk in through the trees to reach it. East Linton station is about 6km to the south-west.
