Nairn East Beach and Harbour
Local highlightBeyond Nairn’s tidy Victorian harbour, the East Beach opens into a wide sweep of dune-backed sand at the mouth of the River Nairn. There’s far more room to roam here than on the central beach, and it draws dog walkers and the odd windsurfer. Park near the harbour and walk out. Along the shore it runs into the town’s other stretch of sand at Nairn Beach.
