Built in 1830 at Danzey Green in Warwickshire, this post mill — its body pivoting on a central post to turn and face the wind — fell derelict, was dismantled, and was rebuilt in working order at the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings in 1969. You can see it at the open-air museum near Bromsgrove, where an admission charge applies. Bromsgrove station is under 2km to the north-east.
