Tremeirchion is a hillside village on the eastern edge of the Vale of Clwyd, worth knowing for the Ffynnon Beuno and Cae Gwyn caves nearby, where some of the oldest evidence of human life in Wales — Palaeolithic tools and animal bone — has been found. The village itself has a medieval church and wide views west across the vale.
