St Beuno’s is the parish church of Bodfari, its stout tower set on a rock above the churchyard so it reads almost as a small fortress. St Beuno was the 7th-century monk who, by legend, restored his niece Winefride to life at Holywell. The church sits at the north end of the Vale of Clwyd, in walking country below the Clwydian hills, and is open to visitors.
