St Dyfnog’s, in the Vale of Clwyd village of Llanrhaeadr, is known above all for one thing: a Tree of Jesse window of 1533, reckoned the finest piece of medieval glass in Wales. In the wooded dingle behind the church is St Dyfnog’s holy well, a pilgrimage spot in its day. Open to visitors.
