Llanrhaeadr is strung along the old Denbigh–Ruthin road in the Vale of Clwyd. It’s known for St Dyfnog’s Church and its Jesse window of 1533, a great sheet of stained glass tracing Christ’s family tree — said to have been buried for safety during the Civil War. A holy well still feeds a pool in the woods behind the church.
