Tighnabruaich is a sailing village strung along the western shore of the Kyles of Bute, on the Cowal peninsula. The sheltered, island-studded waters here are prized by yachtsmen, and there’s a well-known sailing school in the village. The approach on the A8003 is worth the drive for the viewpoint high above the Kyles - one of the finest views in Argyll.
