Popular with sailors working the Kyles of Bute, the Kames Hotel has a waterside bar looking straight out over the water at Kames, next to Tighnabruaich on the Cowal peninsula. It’s a fine spot to watch the yachts and eat some local seafood. The road in is a scenic drive over the hills from the A8003, or you can arrive by boat and tie up.
