Tight stone cottages ring a small green on this breezy hilltop. Most visitors come for Snowshill Manor just below, where between the wars the collector Charles Wade filled the rooms with more than 22,000 objects — Samurai armour, model ships, clocks, bicycles — and gave the lot to the National Trust in 1951. Moreton-in-Marsh station is about 11km east.
