Come on the early May bank holiday for Reach Fair, held under a charter granted by King John in 1201 and opened at noon by the mayor of Cambridge, who throws pennies to the children. The tiny village sits where Devil’s Dyke meets the old fen lode. Waterbeach is the nearest station, some 6.5km west.
